Starting from 26 Apr 2005, Sea-to-Air passengers using the SkyPier of Hong Kong International Airport can apply for the cash refund of the advance payment of the exempted Air Passenger Departure Tax (APDT) at SkyPier.
After checking in at SkyPier, each Sea-to-Air passenger will receive a refund form with the refund verification stamp and initials issued by the airline staff. Passengers can then collect the HK$120 cash refund at the refund counter.
As the refund counter at SkyPier only accepts same day refund of APDT, passengers who have already received the refund form but not collected the refund cash due to any reasons should contact their airlines for refund.
Passengers who meet the requirements but have not received the refund form after departure can complete a APDT refund application form provided by the Civil Aviation Department (CAD), and mail it back to CAD together with the necessary documents to apply for refund.
